My name is Han and I’m a Realtor from San Francisco

For the past 10 years, I've lived and worked in San Francisco. Throughout my twenties, my career changes course several times. I spent the first years as a Quality Assurance Executive for an apparel company. I traveled all over Asia and Western Europe to ensure that fair trade practices existed. In those years, I sharpened my skills in interpersonal communications & contract negotiations.

When fast fashion moved into the scene, I made the tough decision to leave my somewhat successful career. Young and impulsive, I hung onto my ethical values. I’m not going to stay long enough to become a villain, I told myself. This trait will show up again; pushing me to where I am today.

After my time in fashion, I transitioned to marketing agency work. The hours were long and the clients were never happy, but the work was interesting as hell. My time with the agencies will always be the toughest growth period. I jumped from brand to brand helping leadership understand how to talk to their audience. This soon took a toll on me as I realize not all brands care about their consumers. Most hire me to improve their bottom-line. Without the feeling of fulfillment in my work, my values are once again questioned.

In 2016, I passed my CA Real Estate exam after a few rough quarters at work. I love knowing I can escape the corporate hold on a whim - passport and carry-on at the ready. In retrospect, this feeling is more important to me than success.

I quit my corporate job weeks after.

Fast forward four years and I'm closing multi-million dollar listings from SF to Orange County, CA. I feel fulfillment in my work. I help people find homes - create shelter. I’m happy.
